You take pictures of what?!

Hello if you found this page I can only assume you’ve seen the about me section, but if you didn’t happen to pick up on any contacts clues my name is Wilson Personett and I am a photographer. This past December 2023, I graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelors in photography and a minor in marketing. During my time at Northern Michigan I completed a very important personal project to me that has led to me finding my place within the professional photography world. I completed the project that inspired me to become a photographer I captured images of snowflakes ( you can see us under the tab collections) this inspired me to capture images of other small things most recently I have dove into the realm of cannabis photography. This is merged two of my passions, as I do consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur. you can check out my cannabis photography under the jar section I’m currently working on starting up my own business called Wilson’s jar photography @wilsons.jars on instagram.

Well I don’t expect anyone to read this necessarily the purpose of this blog is to hold myself accountable to create, to talk about my work. When I write this don’t expect it to be refined I’m simply talking to text so if the grammar is off blame Apple. I’m not writing this to impress anyone with my language skills. I want to impress with my photos.

If you are reading this and you are thinking why did you post something that’s not so refined or whatever or why post this at all. The answer is simple, if I hone the craft of blogging and edit this then I’ll spend less time doing something else like editing photos or doing dishes. I also would be less likely to make a blog post too because it’s more work for me, I need this to be easy. I’m posting it because I’m narcissistic enough to think someone might want to read this (in the healthiest way possible
